    Try this One:

    Code:
    Dedicated To LoneGunman

    Make sure the battery is full when you do this.

    Here is further reading material:
    [url=http://en.pdamobiz.com/en/forum/PDAforum_posts.asp?TID=151&PN=1]here[/url]

    First we have to download the ROM header from an existing ROM. To do that, we use this tool

    [url=http://forum.xda-developers.com/download.php?id=19]here[/url]

    1. Kill the Activesync process on your PC. Put your XDA into bootloader and cradle it. Only backup the ROM to SD card by typing

    d2s

    in the terminal window.

    2. Copy the ROM header file to the PC with "psdread.exe". Google for this and download the file. (We later also need "psdwrite.exe", so also google for this and download). Enter in the command line of DOS:

    psdread.exe z: 0 0x19c header.img

    (z: is the drive letter of your SD card reader). I use a file name like "header.img" for example. You have now the header file.

    3. Open the 1.60c SD DUMP file from Buzz in a hex editor.
    4. Delete from the beginning of the file the first 411 bytes.
    5. Position the cursor to the first byte. Go to the file menu and insert the "header.img" that you previously got from step 2 AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FILE.
    6. You can now also patch the ROM to different memory configurations. Search for "FFFFFFFF00000008". I think it should be at address 3C0453. 08 = 128MB, 06 = 96MB, 04 = 64 MB, 02 = 32MB
    7. To check that you did everything correctly, the last byte of the file should be now at address 1fc019f (the E from "HTCE"). Save the file in the hex editor, name it for example "OSROM.img.
    8. Use "psdwrite.exe" to write the OSROM.img to the SD card.

    You can get PSDWRITE.EXE here

    [url=http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=XdaUtils%2Fpsdwrite.exe]here[/url]

    9. Take the XDA out of the cradle. While the XDA is still in bootloader mode, insert the SD card into the XDA. After a few seconds it will boot from SD card and install the ROM. If not, put the XDA once more into bootloader mode, it should now start after a few seconds.

    10. After it has read 100% from the ROM, it will show a Checksum Error. Ignore it and soft reset.
    11. Done.

    I accept no liabilities if you destroy your XDA because of trying this. It is your own risk.

    Cheers

    Pat
